CAR VS GARAGE - GALES FERRY

On Aug. 28th the Gales Ferry VCO was dispatched to a car into a garage. On arrival the above was found with one pt still in the vehicle. This couple is very lucky. 1 foot forward or to the right and this would have been a totally different rescue. The drop out of the back of the garage was over 10' to a steep slope that goes directly into Long Cove. A local landscape company that lives next door just happened to have an early day. They quickly chained the car to their truck preventing the vehicle from going any further over the edge. No injuries to the occupants in the vehicle.
