2 ALARMS - LEDYARD






Here are the pics from the 2nd Alarm Fire in Ledyard on Cartridge Trail. The pictures are from Ledyard Police Staff Sergeant Mike Finkelstein. Hope you enjoy them. The fire started on the rear deck in a box of ashes that had ignited from the day before.

WHO'S THAT RUNNING THE HOOK??

On June 24th around 1600hrs PBFD and Groton Ambulance were dispatched to I 95S between exits 87 - 86 for 2 cars reported down an embankment. On arrival units reported all occupants were out of the vehicle. Refusals were obtained. What are the chances of 2 white cars from New York both crashing into the guardrails at the same time?????

HOUSE FIRE - WATERFORD

On June 18th, shortly after the mva in Old Mystic, Waterford departments responded to a house fire. The fire was quickly brought under control. Fire believed to have been started by a attic fan.

3 Car MVA - OLD MYSTIC






On the morning of June 18th the Old Mystic Department responded to Route 184 @ Cow Hill Road for MVA with possible entrapment. I believe 3 ambulances were called to the scene. No entrapment. The rear wheels of the pick up were about 200 hundred feet ahead of the vehicle.

CAR vs BICYCLE - GFFC




On June 5th the GFFC and Ledyard Departments responded to Route 12 @ Christy Hill Road for a van vs bicycle with a teenager involved.

1st Alarm Haz-Mat- Poquonnock Bridge



A few pics from todays Hazmat at Walmart. The load shifted in the trailer causing what was later determined to be Tiki Torch fluid to spill onto the contents of the trailer. A 1st Alarm was struck due to the mixed load. Employees of the store were evaluated with no injuries reported. The Subase and Cerrit team was started as well. More pics to come on Tuesday.

MVA W/PIN - POQUONNOCK BRIDGE


On June 4th the Poquonnock Bridge and Center Groton Departments responded to the intersection of Route 184 and Route 117 for a accident reported with serious injuries. On arrival units found a 3 car with one person needing to be extricated from the vehicle with minor injuries. 2 patients were transported BLS
