WATER RESCUE - MONTVILLE

If you look close you can see the black dot in the left corner. that was one of the rescue teams 1000 feet off shore



On March 7th the Oakdale, Montville, Gardner Lake, Salem, and Colchester Departments responded to the Route 82 side of Garnder Lake for a report of 2 dogs through the ice. I arrived after the dogs were pulled from the water. The dogs were located approx. 1000 feet off shore making this a complicated rescue. Channel 8 News has some great footage on the rescue.
