LEDYARD PD MVA - GALES FERRY

On Feb 27th the Gales Ferry and Ledyard Departments were dispatched to Whalehead Rd in the area of Stone Court for an MVA w/ entrapment involving a LPD cruiser. The officer was responding to a hold up alarm at a convenience store when the accident occurred. 2 pts were transported to the hospital.

PIN JOB - POQUONNOCK

During the early morning minutes of Feb 24th the PBFD and CGFD Departments responded to Route 184 @ Daboll Rd for a 2 car head on. Moments after the dispatch entrapment reported, starting a full assignment. On arrival units found 1 pt pinned in the blazer and 1 pt walking about. Both pts were transported to the hospital.

MVA W/FIRE - OLD MYSTIC

A few pics from the accident on I95S between exits 89 - 88 in Old Mystic on Feb 22nd during the snow storm. From what I have been told the van lost control, went around the drivers side of the vehicle being picked up by the hook, then crossed over going up and over the passanger side of the hooks ramp busting open the fuel tank.

CAR VS POLE - PBFD

At shift change on Feb 7th the PBFD and Subase Departments repsonded to Tollgate Rd for a vehicle through a telephone pole. On arrival units found 1pt out of the vehicle with no injuries.

3 Car w/Ejection - GFFC

On Feb 5th the Gales Ferry & Ledyard Departments responded to Route 12 at North Glennwoods for a multi vehicle accident w/ ejection. 1 Pt from the red jeep was found lying on the ground. If you look at the right side of the 3rd picture you will see a person in yellow. The ejected pt was found in that area. 2 pts were transported from the scene.
